Mr. Madigan will appear at the talkbacks following the performances on March, 28, 29, and 30. 


Please plan on arriving at least 15 minutes before the performance starts. There will be no late seating after the commencement of the performance to ensure the safety of our performers and patrons.

Join Open Stage for I’m Proud of You, the moving stage adaptation of Tim Madigan’s memoir about his transformative friendship with Fred Rogers. This deeply personal story explores themes of kindness, deep listening, and human connection—values that continue to resonate today.

As part of The Good at Heart Festival, Tim Madigan will be in attendance for select performances, joining post-show discussions to share insights about his friendship with Fred Rogers and the lessons that continue to shape his life.

Post-Performance Talkbacks with Tim Madigan:

  • Friday, March 28 – Following the 7:30 PM performance

  • Saturday, March 29 – Following the 7:30 PM performance

  • Sunday, March 30 – Following the 2:00 PM performance

These exclusive discussions will be facilitated by Michael Gingerich and Tom Kaden, co-founders of Someone To Tell It To, the organization dedicated to fostering compassionate listening—an ideal at the heart of Fred Rogers' legacy.
